The title of the document should be changed to Calumet Natural Foods Cooperative (dba Clintonville Community Market) and any reference to Board Director or Board of Directors should be changed to Board Trustee or Board of Trustees. I think we should stick to the timeline at the beginning as closely as possible. This means we should put out a call for candidates as soon as possible and start researching the costs of the mailing for the ballots. I’ve added these and some other tasks to the we.riseup.net group ToDo task page. Under Responsibilities #1 – Minimum Requirements, we should remove the statement: “Regularly meet expectations of job description.” I think it’s vague and doesn’t hold a lot of meaning for someone who’s new to our Board or for those of us that are familiar with our Board, for that matter. Under Responsibilities #3 – General, we should change “Evaluate General Management performance…” to “Evaluate management performance…” so it includes our current team management structure. And most obviously, we need to remove Erin Publow as the contact person and replace her with one of us. One question, did this document have to be approved by the Board in previous years or does the nomination committee have authority to send this out directly? Those are my thoughts based on my first reading. What do you all think? |
