Title: Important Announcement for users of IMC York

Abstract:

York Indymedia has merged with Leeds/Bradford Indymedia. News can no longer be published here on IMC York, although the site will remain available as an archive. The IMC-York mailing list has been shut down.

The Leeds/Bradford Indymedia collective would like to invite former users of this site to join us and use our page to publish your news. We also extend an invitation to you all to join the IMC-Leeds mailing list and get involved. This is just the first of a series of changes through which we will improve Indymedia coverage for York, Scarborough, Durham and beyond. A shiny new website is on its way soon. We have also undertaken to hold at least alternate meetings outside of Leeds so if you would like to host one and get involved, please contact us via the IMC-Leeds mailing list.

IMC Leeds/Bradford would like to thank all previous members of IMC York and contributors throughout the region for the fantastic contribution to the Indymedia project that they have made over the years. We look forward to working even more closely with you all in future.

Indymedia York has merged with Indymedia Leeds/Bradford. The York site remains as an archive but will not accept any news postings. If you want to publish or read news from York and its surroundings, you are in the right place.

IMC Leeds/Bradford would like to extend a warm welcome to former users of IMC York and we hope you will get involved in the collective process here. We invite you all to join the IMC-Leeds mailing list and we will keep everyone informed about the changes we will be making soon, including a move to a shiny new site!
