Join the OWS Medic Working Group¶

In order to join the OWS Medic Working Group the following guidelines have been agreed upon to accept members into the OWS Medic Working Group.

• Accept the code of ethics OWS Medics code of ethics — offsite (wrttn) link
• Shadow another medic for 3-5 different shifts, this can include Charlotte’s place, the
  churches, marches, protest events, etc… – It is recommended that aspiring members vary the type of shift to gain experience.
• Attend some OWS training, this can include, street medic training, bridge training,
  Wednesday night skills sharing, etc… Dates and times will be posted when available.
• Upon completion of requirements pass consensus of current medics to obtain full status within the OWS Medic Working Group.
