Trains

They say how you spend your childhood effects how you think when your grown, for example, a girl who is alone in her childhood is very needy later in life. Someone who does whatever they want when they are young may feel like their kids shouldnt grow up the same way. Me? well, I spent my young life grounded. And the result? A need to be free. In fact, an obsession to be free. I lie awake every night, as I hear the roar of trains flying through town, no more than 100 yards away. they are always on my mind. When I was little thomas the tank engine was my favorite toy. Seems things haven't changed too much. These trains mean something to me. They symbolize my freedom, my escape from a house, car, and 2.5 kids. And let me tell you, when your standing next to something that is so massive, so unstoppable, it is exhilarating. To know that there is nothing you can do to stop that train. The train doesnt stop when it roars through town; the town stops for it. Trainhopping The last red blooded adventure in america. The last prarie for some. And for me, no different. I plan to hop freights till the day I die when I become a "legal"adult. I want nothing more to be a hopeless wanderer. The un-admirable hobo who has the option to become like everyone else, but purposely chooses to live free instead. I will elaborate more later.
