This is where the magic takes place to create everything you see when
you walk into the Autonomous Centre of Edinburgh.

Leith Wholefoods¶
Saturday from 11am – 6pm¶
Tuesday 12am – 3pm¶
Thursday 6pm – 8pm¶
We sell cheap organic wholefoods and ecological goods: dried fruit, nuts, tinned pulses, dried pulses, broth mix, grains, flours, oil, vinegar, honey, jam, rice, pasta, snacks, vegan laundry liquid and washing up liquid, handmade artistic soaps, shampoo, coffee from the Chiapas region.
We have most of the basics, including:
- organic white basmati rice 1kg £1.60
- long grain italian rice per 1kg £1.00
- organic tamari £1.65 per bottle
- organic bouillion 150g £1.90
- Kingfisher toothpaste £2.00
- Bio-D washing-up liquid, 1 litre £1.50
- Rowse organic Honey 340g £2.20
- organic dried chick peas 1kg £1.50
- La Bio organic white fusilli pasta 500g bag £1
- St. Clements chewy fig bars 70p
The food co-op is run by volunteers. We want to make organic groceries more affordable and readily available, so we bulk buy them and sell them at a wee mark up to support our premises.
