Tucker Sauer is an anti-black racist who committed a hate crime in 2016 and was, as of spring 2017, allowed back on campus as a student. On February 20th, 2016, Tucker and his roommate Lucas Henderson threw bottles and shouted the n-word from their apartment blacony at a black man in West Campus. Both men were members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Administration response: Tucker was suspended temporarily from UT, but was welcomed back once his suspension period ended in the spring of 2017. It is unknown if Tucker is still a student or lives near campus (he is no longer listed on the UT directory), but we feel it is important that students remember and be aware of the threat he poses if he is still around.
