GENERAL INFO
In the morning of the first day of the convergence a tour around the area to show all facilities is provided.
Information board
There is a central information board with important information like schedule, room plan, map of the area, a timetable of the commuter-train, map of the region and offered excursions (engage phase), guidelines, etc.
Task list
On the information board a task list will be stick up with the division of the various tasks (e.g. cooking, cleaning).
Wifi
Wifi is provided in every flat and we have two LAN access points. Please avoid streaming of videos. More information on Wifi can be found on the information board.
Cultural center
The cultural center is rent from the village community. We need to keep it shoe-free. Please help to clean it after each use.
Bathrooms
At the convergence center three bathrooms with showers and a urinal are available. Don’t urinate randomly on site.
Showers and water
At our convergence space, we have limited warm water supply. Please use only as much as necessary to shower or wash. Also, think about showering cold. After the warm water is empty it takes around 2 hours to be hot again so it makes sense to use also the lunch break or the evening to take a shower. Don’t flush any stuff except toilet paper to biological cleansing intact.
Sleeping
Sadly we cannot over a mattress for everyone. The lucky one who gets a mattress should turn them vertically during the day to spare room and avoid mould. Some rooms are used multifunctional for workshop spaces and need to be tidied up every morning
Washing machine
A washing machine is on site. If you need to wash some clothes please ask the organizers for a short intro.
Fences
The gates of the convergence-space must be kept closed to keep livestock on site.
Security
The region where the convergence is happening has some issues with nazis. So there is a small chance that we get bothered by them. So be careful look after each other and we will have to organizer volunteer for security-watch during the night. In every flat, there will be some security-stuff to be accessible for everybody.
Photos and Video recording
The organizers will take photos and video during the convergence to publish online. Please tell us if you do not want to appear. All the speakers of the classes will be video recorded (no images of participants).
Engage and Transform Phases: the second week
In the second week, we work collectively to make the convergence happening. The activities of the engage and transform phase will be planned and organized together. Self-management means also to care as a group for cooking, cleaning, maintaining the infrastructure, etc.. For that, we use the information board and daily plenaries.
