Discussion¶
Need to keep in mind minimizing congestion at the front of the shop
Bike Corral¶
- Can move the nice parts cabinet to free up space
- Can make a second railing to box the bikes in
- Make a ceiling for the corral for a storage location for car racks
- May need to move the new tires
- Can result in added space for a buletin board
Tires¶
- Can call a couple of places to see if they take them, what they charge
- Ricky Called D&D’s (Under 62nd street bridge) and Liberty
- D&D’s just takes them to Liberty it sounded like
- Liberty charges $0.50 per tire even though they are just bicycle tires

- EAB Hooks?
- Should EAB projects have a seperate section of hooks?
- We can have a volunteer task be to rearrange bikes and put the EAB projects in one single area
- The benefit is to make it easier to know what bikes are what when searching for a new project
- Sand-blaster
- May want to take on this project during the winter when the shop is less hectic
- If one is available we can try to get it and then store it until we are able to set it up this winter
- Compressor Lines
- 10 foot sections for a total span of 50 feet with a T joint at each junction
- Will be about $100 for materials to install the piping, hardware, and quick connects
- Will want to get air-pressure guages, which will add cost
- Red Box
- We want to organize our tools better and the red tool-chest does not seem to be doing the job
- Consider reorganizing this as a winter project
- Can consider options and bring them to the next meeting
Things we need¶
- Zip Ties
- Pins for chain tool
Updates¶
Tires¶
- There is a ThinkTank discussion on dealingn with tires. One group teams up with the local waste management department.
- Consider contacting county waste management to see if we can work something out
