- Thomas Merton Center bike request. Edith Bell is interested in getting a bike to give out as an award. They did this last year and are coming back for the second time.
- Proposal: if the Babes on Bikes party on Friday takes in more than they need (around $1300) then Free Ride take a 10% cut of the remaining amount. This is in exchange to our providing volunteers to help clean up the shop beforehand, and for use of the space. This already OK’d by Babes on Bikes. (Broader discussion needed about the terms for Free Ride’s use as a party space: normally Free Ride takes no financial cut at all, but is this reasonable? How have Free Ride parties been handled in the past? Should we make a formal policy about outside groups doing Free Ride parties? Things to consider: relationships with party planners that help us out a lot, mutual aid etc.)
- Rachel to meet with Grady to select 10 bikes, FR to give Grady $150 worth of tools from QBP (as decided by Rachel, Zach, Scott). We still need tool list.
- Key policy, who has keys, who can get keys – request for confirmation of policy
- Proposal to use two of the four lockers near front desk as secure storage — one staffer should hold keys and place and retrieve valuables upon request from locked storage. (In response to attempted theft of laptop this past week)
