Philanthropic Management Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Invites Proposals to Support Workforce of Monterey County, California¶
On behalf of a private foundation client, the Philanthropic Management group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch is soliciting grant proposals for the purpose of supporting the agricultural workforce and families of Monterey County, California.
Applications will be accepted for projects that directly improve the quality of life of agricultural workers in Monterey County and their families.
Fields of interests may include agricultural research, education, and vocational training; the promotion and advocacy of agriculture in the community, with a focus on youth; economic development and entrepreneurship; access to critical social services such as health care; and basic education, scholarships, and educational opportunities.
Grant amounts will range from $10,000 to $25,000 each for one year; multiyear proposals will be considered.
