How to grow organic (including veganic) outdoor cannabis for use in ritual and magic, including alchemy (micro and macro), in the UK type climate

Firstly its best to grow the plant outside in full natural sunlight and despite what you may have heard there are many strain of cannabis that do very well in the UK’s climate, especially southern UK. I’ve found that growing weed in a greenhouse, at least a polytunnel does not do as well as outofdoors, including the final flowering period…mold issues at this stage of flowering. I think for greenhouse growing a glasshouse type greenhouse with very good ventilation, lots of roof vents supplemented by fan would be required to stop molding.

Picking the right strain is crucial. Any old ‘bagseed’ will just not do – don’t waste you time. Commerical African/Jamaican bush will generally have a long flowering period and require dry flowering conditions. i.e will not be mold resistant and they will not finish or the buds swell up. In general, pick a cultivar that will finish no later than 14th Oct. You just will be unlikely to get top sized bud after that point in time….(Finnishing time is quite often different from that stated in the seed companies literature)…otherwise You may get crystalated buds, but they will be relatively diminutive. Crystals contain the active ingredient in cannabis. Some African cultivars, however, will do well in the UK climate. The classic choice is the ‘sativa’ Durban Poison which is an early starting to flower strain that will finish in September some time. The other sort of cannabis is ‘indica’ – that tends to be ‘heavier’ and more of a sleepy hit than the more trippy perhaps sativa. Femminised strains mean that you only are bothering to grow the useful female plants and don’t have to weed out male plants later, but purists may want regular plants. Ideally the cannabis should be grown in the kitchen garden with good fertile soil, where you can keep an eye on it and deal with slug attacks etc.

Organic methods should be used, using ideally, home made compost. Grown as part of a permaculture/Forest Garden system, cannabis plugs in very well and will empower on the occult/magic level the work that is done. (all things being equal). It can be started off as seed in a heated propagator in late March, or under grow lights even earlier (even as early as December), grown on in a heated greenhouse and planted out in late April. If you don’t have a greenhouse or indoor growlight set up, seeds can be started in April on the windowsill and grown on in pots in the garden and then planted out.

As a ballpark figure you can expect at least 4 – 8 oz plus of dried bud per plant with properly managed plants. So 10 good plants will give 40 – 80 oz. Varieties that I can recommend are Sensi Seeds, ‘Mexican Sativa’..not a femminised strain but good strong plants with a manic high. Their ‘Early Skunk’ is suppost to be good – remember that skunk is an indica strain. Female seeds do some good reliable consistant and strong plants. Their ‘White Widow’ is good in the South East of the UK, and will have bud ready by Oct7th and pull the rest by Oct 14th. (despite what the website says). This is a very good strain of white widow. Dinafem white widow is also very good…check it out, finishing at the same time. Female Seeds, Easy Sativa is good as is their Moroccan/Ketama. Greenhouse Seeds are well known..I’ve always found their strains less consistent in growth and plant type, but perhaps more ‘esoteric’ in high. They do some nice long sativas. Arjan’s Haze Number 1 finishes around start/mid November in the South East UK and seems to be an amazingly hardly strain, surviving gales and frosts. It will crystalate, but the buds will be smaller than the earlier finishing strains. All these strains will have an amazing wild plant smell when ready – completely different in many many ways to stuff grown under lights whether in soil or hydro. ‘Autoflowering’ rudaralis cannabis species hybrid cultivars have come on massively in recent years. These can give an outside harvest as early as June if started early enough. Yields have traditionally been low outdoors with these strains in the UK, but the new ‘super auto’ varieties are suppost to be better, Short Stuff ‘Super Cali Haze’ and Flash Seeds super auto strains.

Of course growing cannabis is illegal under most countries statutes, and so ‘guerrilla growing’ may be the preferred option. This takes much more work. An area that has good light levels is crucial..Think south facing slopes, late season light availablity…a location that is unfrequented by people in its immediate situation, even if people pass by relatively close by, and ideally nice and secluded, not overlooked by anywhere at all. Remember that most but not all strains of cannabis stink. Do research on the internet. You can do this via an anomoniser. Tor is suppost to be the best:

Areas of bracken within woodlands can be good to grow cannabis because they generally stay slug free…south facing slopes please, ideally not overlooked by houses or higher ground. Dont keep going there, only when neccessary. Avoid making paths. Avoid peaty (very acidic and infertile) and overly sandy soils. Most strains like fertility and will need plenty water..so mulching an area in advance, the previous autumn ideally, is a good idea usually..or mulching around plants using cut vegetation when planting out is sound…but mulch can bring in slugs if the weather is wet in summer in problematic situations (grasslands tend to be bad)…you might well need to use the toxic blue slug bait if slugs are around. I’ve tried all different sorts of anti slug measures, and that method eems to be the only one that works.

Dig out a cubic foot of soil from the planting site for the planting hole. Bring in soil from a fertile area – in woodland areas of damp rotted leaves/black hummus soil near pondy areas are good…the damp soil gives the plants a good start and hopefully avoids the need to carry in water. If mulch is used the soil should stay moist whatever the weather. Mix with wood ash/seaweed meal etc, put this in the hole, and plant the young cannabis plant into this. Don’t go over the top with the fertiliser. Cover with mulch. This way the plant should get through any early season dry spell and put out a good root system by high summer. You might need rabbit protection. Chicken wire cylinders for each plant supported by wooden poles made from twigs in the surrounding woods. 8 inches across by 2 feet high as a minimum diameter. If rabbits do find the plants they will tend to eat what they can reach, so a wider diameter of wire cylinder will give much more growth of lower stems. I would recommend if possible banging a largish wooden stake, say about 5 foot long (point the end),just next to the newly planted cannabis plant. Site it on the non sunny side of the plant. The wire rabbit protection can be tied to this stake, and later on, when the plants are big and weighted with buds, the plant can to tied to the stake for stability and support. Visit the site carefully, discreetly and infrequently. You might need to cut back bracken or add mulch. (usually around mid July in southern UK). Stay cool – generally people cannot read you mind, they have no idea what you are doing in the woods! You are walking, camping, gay dating, whatever. Be bright and breezy and confident and captain normal with any wandering Mr Normals you meet whilst on cannabis crop missions, thus “Hello sir!..what a glorious day is it not, good sir?!”..and then confidently marching forth. Yes indeed! OM SHIVA!

I’m now thinking about direct seedling of prepared beds and ammended wild areas with true breeding strains. This is because of the cost of buying hybrid seeds, and the huge amount of work, hassle and potential legal issues by growing small plants and then planting out. Also a large number of seeds can be made and distributed for free. So far doing some research and these breeders do some true breeding strains: Seedsman.com (very good but unfortunatly they’ve discontinued a nice looking true breeding Mexican Sativa. They do a nice looking Afghan No1), The Real Seed Company (lots of interesting Indian stuf), Ace Seeds (pakistan), World of Seeds, White Label (both have nice looking Hindu Kush) – you have to read through the descriptions. Sensi Seeds Hindu Kush and Durban Posion are true breeding apparently. I’ve emailed several major cannabis seed breeding companies to ask which strains are true breeding – Dutch Passion, Flying Dutchman) None replied. Presumably the ‘magic of the market’ (sick) in operation again. Oh and in fact UK420 cannabis forum censored off the link to this essay as ‘spam’. When you combine money making, free enterprise, capitalism – whatever you wanna call it – and a cannabis culture that has no respect for the occult then you get that sort of mind controlly act happening. They want you to go back to them each year to buy more seed…they also appear to wanna contain and control the effect of the drug in way that blocks the real occult/telepathic/shapshift magic potential and keep you controlled and contained as a good little cunt of a punter. (generalising).

Deer are a serious threat to cannabis plants if they find them, so avoid areas frequented by them, period. Wait until the flowers are properly finished until picking them, taking the first outer buds that finish first, then pick the whole plant including the roots, shaking the soil off them, possibly tieing up rootage in plastic bags during transportation. The plants can be bundled and roped together for transportation to the drying location. Try ideally to dry the plants over a month. Hang them upside down from horizontal ropes strung across the dry room. Spread a large plastic sheet under the drying plants to catch stuff that drops off. You will probably need a fan heater supplement for the initial 3 days or so to avoid rot. The buds will be big and fat. Then turn the heat down. Keep the dry room dark. After this period, pick the buds off the stems, bringing with them crystalated leaves and pack not too tightly ideally into air tight rubber vacuum sealing jars or containers. Stash off site. Collect up the stuff from the floor, and the waste left over and make this into bubblehash. These can be cheaply made for a few rupees using mesh from a place I dont remember or commercial versions can be purchased.

The herbal sacrament can be dried in 5 days or so in an airing cupboard type temperature as stalks of cannabis rather than entire plants – but the weed will not be as superior – Taking it slowly this way gives you soft, but dry, with the outer crystalated leaves folded around buds that will have a deep cosmical magic effect ideally. Dont pack the herb too tightly in containers. Savour each bud.

Share and enjoy – share with awareness (be aware of the blagging babylon virus – I have given stuff to people in the spirit of free sharing guidance circle, and they went on to sell it!) for the most auspicious meditation..then power of heaven and earth could be yours!

Idea for drug legalisation

From considerable experience of the issues…I’m not saying that many drug dealers are dangerous brain dead egotistical wankers that need a damn good beating (hint hint real IRA) or anything…but…

legalise completly: personnal non commercial cultivation of cannabis (up to 13 plants, but not rigorously enforced). Legalise personal use and free sharing of cannabis.

Open state run drugs shops selling up to 30 grams organic outdoor and greenhouse grown ganga only at reasonable price say $50 oz. Also sell extasy at $10 for 5 pills and MDMA crystal at around $20 a gram. Cannabis seed breeding legalised. Price fixing investigation if price any more than any other horticultural seed, ie. more than around $5 for 30 or so seeds. Make it illegal 2 specify an exact number of seeds per pac. Ban sale of drug parafinalia other than (price regulated) bubblesacs. Ban all commercial drug advertising including for alcohol and tabacco. Tel kids not 2 take mind altering drug all the time.

Ie take bullshit out of the medicene (magic).

LSD and magic mushrooms should also be legal in a personal growth type setting – old school convoy/sound protest camp type sharing circle…but without the plastic shammanism.

Pyscotropic drugs (I place cannabis and extasy in this catogary as oppossed to drugs such as cocaine and crystal meth) are not toys – the trip is suppost to be going somewhere in terms of liberation of consciousness…a change of ones reality to that of positive awareness of the living Mother Earth, the occult reality behind the material illusion and so on.

Finally take care especially ina western/babylon type setting when taking mind opening drugs – you might start opening ona negative one, and fall into a babylon negative occult skitz out trip, rather than a positive occult/religious/magic opening of mind. Don’t take mind altering drugs too much – another cause of pyscological implosion. Bubblehash is very powerful – like freshly rubbed charras…like a cannabis acid trip, so dont start acting up/egoising on it…remember its a product of plant from Mother Earth :) Start helping her instead of hindering.
