What Is Different About Season 8 in Apex Legends?

There are some major changes to Apex Legends Season 8: “Mayhem.” Mayhem has changes to loading screens, banners, weapon skins and character skins, a new 30-30 Repeater Rifle and gold magazines. Read on to find more Apex Legends Season 8 tips!

Kings Canyon

Kings Canyon is the battle royale’s original map, but it has been altered in a major way. Let’s say there was some singing, an inauguration and then lots of big booms and bangs. The aftermath includes massive damage, fire, smoke, droids and other things that aren’t usually found in Kings Canyon. The damage around the Crash Site has created new areas to explore too.

There has been a huge flood, and Slum Lakes has been replaced by a chemical-filled Spotted Lakes. There is another new spot on the map: Observation Towers. You can access these, but be warned that you will make a loud noise by doing so. Once buried bones have been unearthed, and there are a number of armories that can be accessed with explosives. The Farm is no more, and there are other changes.

New and Old Legends

Fuse can throw explosives more accurately, farther and quicker than other Legends. He is also able to stack more grenades than other Legends. He has a cluster bomb that creates mini-concussion mines. Fuse’s rocket launcher, “Wally,” creates a ring of fire around the chosen target.

Wraith has had some hitbox adjustments to make hers similar to other Legends, but she’s still awesome at what she does.

Here are some other features that have changed:

• You can now have access to a damage counter

• You can request ammo with quick chat, and you can ping your weapons and ammo

• You have the opportunity to learn about the history of certain Legends’ skins
