June 30th Meeting¶
Attending: Viki, Abie, Tim, Hector
Agenda¶
We need to define “measurable outcomes”, and identify 3 components on each:
- What to do
- Who will do it
- How to make sure it’s done (accountability)
Wants¶
Viki: Economic components, network social relationship component, and especially transaction cost analysis component
Abie: Build experience working on applied projects like this
Tim: Grow Growing Washington
- cases per mile
- value per delivery
- grow the network
And develop transferable results
Hector: Contribute to solving a real problem
Combine models with data
WSU BioAg / CSANR – traditionally has been focused more on the farm side of farm production, this is a big chance to switch to the business system view. Key question they will need answered: “What is specific to BioAg in this project?”
Potential Answers:
- Variety and diversity
- Small lot distribution
- Realize farm values in market
Growing Washington¶
