Testo Prime is a genuine and natural way to improve your endurance levels without having to worry about any negative side effects on your health. Most drugs available in the market for improving strength and endurance either produce no results or just temporary results.
It is important to understand that the ideal way to gain muscle mass and improve strength and endurance levels is by utilizing the hormone levels of your body. Your body’s hormone levels (testosterone) play the most important role in building muscle mass and reducing body fat. Most men experience a decrease in testosterone levels beyond the age of 35 or 40. This makes it extremely difficult for them to achieve the muscle mass they have always wanted.
Testo Prime can help people who fail to grow their muscle mass due to decreased testosterone levels in their bodies. It helps boost testosterone levels naturally which helps stimulate the growth of muscle mass and you can achieve the muscle structure you have always dreamt of. It helps to boost testosterone levels in your body without any negative side effects and customers have reported a visible difference only after 2 weeks of using the product. You will feel more energetic as your strength and endurance levels improve after using Testo Prime. If you have always wanted a great muscle mass but have been frustrated because of slow progress in spite of spending hours at the gym Testo Prime is just the right product for you. It will increase your testosterone levels which will reduce your body fat, increase your muscle mass and also boost the libido.
It is important to understand here that Testo Prime is not a miracle product and you have to do your fitness training properly and eat a healthy diet to get the results you are looking for. It helps athletes develop a competitive edge by an increase in strength and endurance levels due to higher testosterone levels in the body. You must be serious about your goal to improve muscle mass as Testo Prime works best when you eat a healthy and nutritious diet and follow an intense workout regime. You should follow the dosing instructions as it does not help to build muscle mass faster if you take more than the prescribed dosage of Testo Prime.
Testo Prime is an all natural product with no side effects and it has been scientifically and clinically proven that it boosts testosterone levels in the body for increased strength and endurance levels. Researches also show that it helps to release more endorphins which help to keep stress and cortisol levels under control. You should order Testo Prime to improve your health and well-being and feel more energetic with better strength and endurance levels.
Andropause: 8 signs your testosterone is low¶
More than half of men do not know what andropause is and 51% have never been to the urologist, research points out; see the symptoms to take care of themselves correctly.
Have you, man, heard of andropause? If so, congratulations, since you are not part of the numerous 57% of Brazilian men who are unaware of what is the drop in testosterone that can happen as age advances. That tiredness, depression, changes in mood can be a drop in the male hormone, which can happen, usually, after 40 years. To resolve this, it is necessary to seek medical attention.
Despite the extreme importance, it is not enough to go only to the urologist, according to Carlos Sacomani, urologist and communication director of the Brazilian Society of Urology (SBU). It is necessary to visit the cardiologist and also the endocrinologist to prevent problems, and not just treat him when he reaches an uncontrolled level. Assessing health as a whole is beneficial for male health.
See 8 symptoms of andropause:¶
- Changes in mood;
- Decreased libido and erectile dysfunction;
- Decreased muscles and reduced strength;
- Changes in body hair;
- Sleep disorders;
- Increase in visceral fat.
According to a survey released by SBU in partnership with Bayer, this month, 51% of men have never been to a urologist. Therefore, half the male population can suffer from this drop in testosterone – which is reflected in personal relationships – without knowing it.
The study also points out that 30% of the 3200 men from eight Brazilian capitals, heard in the survey, attribute the symptoms that the drop in testosterone gives to overwork and everyday stress. Another 17% believe that this may be related to emotional and psychological problems. Only 15% understand that it is the problems of andropause that can cause undesirable symptoms. In addition, 68% do not know the difference between hormone replacement therapy and sexual stimulant.
Hormone replacement, according to the chief endocrinologist at the Development Endocrinology Unit of Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo, Elaine Frade Costa, aims to supply the body’s need, which started to produce an insufficient amount of hormones. Providing an amount of testosterone beyond what is necessary, therefore, is not a hormone replacement. This goes for the use of anabolics or other prohibited and dangerous substances.
Low testosterone: why raising hormone levels is controversial?¶
Men want to improve their physical and sexual disposition. But studies suggest that many take it unnecessarily and without considering the risks to the heart.
What is the cause of low testosterone? Is it possible to avoid? Are there specific drugs for low testosterone?
Testosterone is the main male sex hormone – although it is also found, but in smaller amounts, in women. Testosterone is produced in men by the testicles and is responsible for the appearance of secondary sexual characteristics, such as the development of muscle and bone mass. In addition, it plays an important role in sexual activity and disposition and, according to some research, it can even affect the feeling of self-confidence. Normal levels of total testosterone for adult men are considered to range from 300 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dl) of blood to 1,000 ng/dl. It is a very long-range, which suggests that it is difficult to specify what is a “normal level”: a “low” level for one person can be “high” for another – and vice versa.
It is natural that, with age and the aging process, the level of testosterone decreases progressively. The sharp drop in testosterone that generates symptoms has come to be called andropause, in an analogy with the menopause of women, despite not having many similarities. Contrary to what happens with them – all will go through menopause -, not all men will have a significant reduction in testosterone levels accompanied by symptoms such as erection difficulties, tiredness, insomnia, and fat accumulation. When it happens, in about 15% of men, it is slow and gradual. The scientific name of andropause is late male hypogonadism.
Based on some studies on the functioning of the body, doctors have agreed on some limits to stipulate below which level of testosterone would be considered deficient. This value changes according to different medical entities in the world. In Brazil, the guidelines formulated in 2014 by experts at the request of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) and the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB) establish that levels less than 300 ng/dl of total testosterone (or free testosterone below 6.5 ng / dl³) can be classified as insufficient – and deserve treatment if they lead to symptoms such as worsening mood, mood and libido. The ideal is to repeat the test in which the hormone is dosed because, in up to 30% of cases, men with slightly lower levels show normal results in a second test. The test should be done between 7 am and 10 am because there is also the fluctuation of testosterone in the blood throughout the day (about 15% of young people have low testosterone levels during the day due to this variation).
If the deficiency is diagnosed and there are symptoms, the recommended treatment is hormone replacement. In Brazil, there are three types of medication registered with the Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa): oral, injectable, and gel. The oral form is the least used because it is necessary to take many capsules a day. In other countries, there are still subcutaneous implants and adhesives.
Although the deficiency affects the smallest part of men, hormone replacement only grows. It is estimated that worldwide, in the last 30 years, use has increased a hundredfold. Australian doctor David Handelsman, a specialist in human reproduction at the University of Sydney, is one of the critics: “This achievement was achieved by marketing strategies that bypassed the need for efficacy and safety tests by stretching the definition of hypogonadism to encompass virtually any condition. associated with low testosterone levels, ”wrote Handelsman in one of the American Medical Association’s scientific publications, Jama.
There is evidence that the increase in testosterone replacement is largely caused by the inappropriate use of the treatment. A survey published in 2013 in the United States, from the testosterone prescription for more than 10,000 men between 2001 and 2011, suggests that about 25% had not taken the testosterone dosage in the last 12 months. Researchers do not know, of all those who did the tests, how many actually had levels compatible with disabilities. The diagnosis of late hypogonadism only followed half of the prescriptions. Almost 35% of the justifications were fatigue.
The inappropriate use of hormone replacement, including testosterone, has become the center of a legal battle in Brazil. In 2012, a resolution by the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) prohibited doctors from prescribing hormone replacement therapy for patients who are not proven to have deficiencies. The entity vetoed the prescription of hormones in order to delay, modulate or “reverse” the aging process. The Brazilian Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (Abmae) obtained an injunction in 2013 allowing the practice. In April of this year, in the final judgment of the matter, the Justice considered that Abmae had no legitimacy to replace its associates in the class action and, therefore, extinguished the action, without judging the merits. The CFM resolution prohibiting the prescription of hormones for those who are not disabled has been maintained.
The reason for the legal controversy is linked to the scientific controversy: treatment with hormone replacement is considered controversial by many doctors since the balance between the supposed benefits and the risks of the practice remains in scientific dispute.
What science says¶
Testosterone replacement has always aroused caution because of suspicions of significant side effects, such as the development of tumors and cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attacks. In 2010, a study comparing men over 65 who were undergoing replacement with those who did not have to be stopped because of cardiovascular problems among some of the volunteers who used the hormone. Another survey, published in 2013 and which compiled the result of a series of small studies, also suggested an increase in cardiovascular risk. A study from the same year, with men over 60 years old, 80% of whom had cardiovascular disease, also found records of cardiac events and even deaths among those who used testosterone.
Evidence of this kind has led the United States’ National Institutes of Health, the US government’s biomedical research agency, to coordinate the largest and most complete research panel on testosterone replacement. The series of seven studies used the best type of scientific methodology: a group that used the hormone as compared to others that did not use it or that used other types of medication. Neither the researchers nor the volunteers knew who was in each group. The results for sexual and physical function, vitality, cognition, anemia, bone density, and cardiovascular health were evaluated. Participants were over 65 years old, total testosterone levels below 275 ng/dl, compatible symptoms, and no contraindications to the use of testosterone. A pharmaceutical company financed part of the study, provided the medication and the placebo gel (without effect) used in the research. The findings of the studies, which earned the nickname TTrials (Testosterone Trials), began to be released last year.
Here are the main results:¶
- Effects on sexual function – The results were considered modest because, despite having increased by 42% shortly after the start of treatment, they have decreased over the months. Volunteers who used drugs commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction had better results.
- Effects on physical function and vitality – There was no objective benefit on well-being and physical activities.
- Effects on memory and cognition – There was no improvement in memory or cognitive function.
- Effects on anemia – There was a significant increase in hemoglobin levels (a protein that is inside red blood cells and carries oxygen), which helped to correct anemia caused by different reasons.
- Effects on bones – There was an increase in bone density, more in the spine than in the hips. Larger, longer-term studies are needed to see if this increase translates into a reduced risk of fractures.
- Effects on cardiovascular risk – Treatment for one year with the gel containing testosterone significantly increased the volume of calcifications inside the arteries of the heart, which, in theory, may predispose to cardiac events, such as infarction. In the study, no events were recorded.
The TTrials’ conclusions turned out to be more about whether or not there are benefits than about the possibility of risks. Therefore, American experts insist on the need for long-term studies to rule out the risks of testosterone replacement. In an article that accompanied the publication of some of the studies, American doctor Eric Orwoll is skeptical about the replacement. “The results show that testosterone treatment has generated certain benefits, but the clinical importance is still uncertain,” wrote Orwoll in the New England Journal of Medicine. “Treatment is not a panacea and the results alone may be insufficient to support the decision to start treatment in symptomatic older men.” One of the limitations of TTrials is that the population studied was over 65 years old. There is no certainty that the conclusions would be the same in younger men or those with normal testosterone levels.
Are there other ways to increase testosterone?¶
Some studies suggest that physical activity, especially for overweight and obese people, may help to slightly increase testosterone levels. “Testosterone is deposited in fat; therefore, burning it helps to release testosterone ”, says urologist Archimedes Nardozza, president of the Brazilian Society of Urology.
The effects of food on testosterone levels are somewhat more uncertain. Maintaining a low-calorie diet has raised the hormone level in studies of obese men. Thin men, on the other hand, when subjected to low-fat diets, for example, had a decrease in production, according to some studies. The conclusion of a review, published in August and which analyzed 15 studies on diet and testosterone levels, is that there is still a lack of solid evidence on how diet influences male sexual health. Considering that physical activities and a balanced diet are essential components for a healthy life, it is worth investing in these changes of habit.
What to do¶
If you suspect low testosterone levels, you should never go on hormone replacement without having a medical diagnosis of hormone deficiency associated with clinical symptoms. If the condition is confirmed and hormone replacement is recommended by the doctor, ask him to explain, based on scientific studies, what are the proven benefits and possible associated risks, especially in relation to your case. People with cardiovascular problems deserve more attention. Men who have already had breast cancer cannot use testosterone. For other types of cancer, although the relationship between the hormone and the appearance of tumors has not been proven, the Brazilian guideline indicates preventive care in relation to the prostate. “We already know that testosterone does not cause the appearance of tumors, but it can accelerate the development of one that already exists,” says endocrinologist Elaine Costa, from Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo. Digital rectal examination and PSA measurement are recommended in the third, sixth, and 12th months of treatment and then annually if there are no abnormalities. Under no circumstances should testosterone be used without medical supervision.
