  • One of Shannon Vallor’s "technomoral virtues", where she groups it with equanimity, courage, ambition, but I think she means more of what we mean by magnificence. Magnanimity is a deliberate latinization of the Greek word μεγαλοψυχία, though, so maybe we should go with Vallor on this. However, “magnanimity” is rarely used this way today. I usually see it used to describe a sort of forbearance combined with noblesse oblige.
