- Systematic problem solving skills have wide application. They can boost confidence and lower stress, and can help you acquire additional virtues more easily. Indeed, every virtue acquisition practice is a sort of problem-solving practice as well.
- 1) Clarify the problem; 2) generate a variety of possible courses of action; 3) evaluate those alternatives; 4) select the most promising; 5) act on you selection while maintaining flexibility.
