If memory serves, there’s a cultural component to personal space (in some cultures, people stand nearer to one another, gesticulate more or less towards each other, etc.) and also an individual one (some people are more flinchy, others more huggy). This virtue is about perceiving other people’s personal space needs and not infringing on them in uncomfortable ways.
