Hello, I’d like to raise an issue related to Pages. Currently, pages in groups, committes, etc. are grouped mainly using tags. Tagging has one drawback though : different people might use different tags/words to describe content that should normally be associated. Furthermore, tagging isn’t offered when creating a page, it has to be done after the page is created. My suggestion would be to introduce page “collections” or “folders”, which could be selected directly when creating a new page. The list of available “collections” could be defined at the group/committee administration level. That way, a section on the group/committee homepage could be added, just on top on content listed by date, with links to special “collections” pages, consisting simply of all pages in that “collection” listed by date and/or type. Anyway, the basic idea being to facilitate finding certain content, regardless if it’s been updated lately or not, and if it’s been tagged correctly or not. |
