Aims of the Forum¶

Until now, there were almost no opportunities for multipliers to stay active within GLEN after finishing with the one year training cycle. Often, important topics arose out of activities from individuals or smaller groups, but no sustainability was given due to the lack of a sustainable network of multipliers. The Forum wants to tackle this problem by creating a sustainable structure of working and action groups which are interconnected and reporting to each other, where new Glennies can join and stay active.
Also, the Forum aims at co-organising an annual event together with other GLEN member institutions. At these events Glennies meet and connect and, according to the Forum‘s ideas, prepare Global Education activities to involve a broader public and strengthen the idea of the global interdependencies.

Another obstacle for multipliers was so far, that their interests and needs were hardly represented in the strategical decision making and steering of the network. With the Forum, GLEN volunteers have created a legal association which will now request decisive participation within the structure of GLEN partners.
