The meeting will be held in InfoShop,56a Crampton St, SE17 3AE on Tuesday 10th of March at 7.30pm.
- New IMC Form: ana has started filling it in, with some additions by mara. We need more people to check it out/amend.
- IMC Finance Consulta: what’s the deadline for London? When do we send it to UK list? With what deadline? Who?
- Admin Workshop, never happened, new date and time. We do need more moderators!
- IMC London Frontpage Layout (see screenshot of current, might be good to print out and take along)
- G20: what do we do? IMC and what else? How do we coordinate coverage with UK?
- preG20 event (film/discussion/outreach) late March-ish. IFIs etc. best to start asap with material, venue, publicty.
- Moderation Issues:
- Events Featuring and Hiding: what about events that don’t happen in London? How do we determine if something is “important” enough to be featured anyway? Do we actually hide everything not in London, or does it stay in the open wire?
- Non-London Newswire, has been discussed a couple of times, but do we want one?
- Block of Feature Proposal, discuss accepting future proposals from Animal Rep
- Autopromotion for Accounts: What’s the process? How do we propose accounts to be autopromoted? How do we agree? How do we keep track of abuse?
- Another Accounts: do we want to have “public accounts” in addition to the current “private accounts”, meaning “public” accounts would automatically put the account name as author and get a page like group pages? This could be good for users like Rikki or Fil, as they’re doing great work on the site, but are not a group.
- Links page: do we want to set up a links page, linking to other london newssites? See London Progressive Media for examples.
- IMC in Calais (24. June – 5.July) – any takers?
