In November 2007 this software started under the name BertPSR as a “power structure research project to visualize the elite network of Bertelsmann”. One half year later, it was set under subversion and published here
It is written in Perl using the Tk graphics library.
It enables the user to create a visualization of connections between for example persons and organizations like shown below. This is a start to "Turn signal and noise into information and knowledge".
As there is no open software to analyse Social systems as part of Network Analysis generate and collectively share maps on the base of a Live database of board members and companies after a long break in May 2010 I decided to develop it further.
