Es sollte klar sein: falls etwas nicht in der Öffentlichkeit besprochen werden soll, dann besser nicht in dieser Gruppe. Alternativ kann eine neue Gruppe eingerichtet werden, die nur über Einladungen neue Menschen aufnimmt.

Um das zu tun, klickt auf groups → create a new group, und wenn die Gruppe angelegt ist, geht auf → group settings → permissions um festzulegen, wie neue mitglieder in die Gruppe aufgenommen werden.

Um dieser Gruppe beizutreten, klickt auf den “Join Group” Link am Ende dieses Textes.

Wenn du noch keinen Account bei we.riseup.net hast, klick auf: we.riseup.net/account/signup

Auch wenn du schon bei we.riseup.net bist, kann es nicht schaden, sich für eine solche öffentliche Gruppe einen separaten Account anzulegen.

It should be clear that if something shouldn’t be discussed in public, better don’t discuss it in this group. Alternatively, anyone can create new groups that add new people only by invitation.

To do that, click on groups (on the top) → create a new group, and once the group is created, go to → group settings → permissions to set how new members are added.

To join this group, click on the “Join Group” link at the end of this text.

If you don’t have an account on we.riseup.net yet, click on: we.riseup.net/account/signup

Even if you are already on we.riseup.net, it may not be a bad idea to create a separate account for such an open group.
