Below these essential instructions, are supplemental suggestions.

I. Create a Crabgrass Account¶

1. This needs to be done only once.
2. Consider choosing a “handle” that is different from handles that you use elsewhere to improve privacy for others as well as yourself.
3. Create a Crabgrass account.
4. Be sure to remember your account name and password.

II. Log On to Your Account¶

1. This needs to be done every time.
2. Log in to your account.
3. For the next steps, view the Read First file (this file)

III. Join the BACE Group¶

1. This needs to be done only once.
2. Log on to your account, if necessary. (See above.)
3. Request to be added to this group.
4. Wait till your membership approved (this may take a half-day to a day or so).
5. Log on to your account, if necessary. (See above.)
6. Visit the home page of this group wiki, and then begin exploring.

Supplemental Suggestions¶

Learn about Crabgrass.¶

• Read a general overview of Crabgrass called About Crabgrass.
• Experiment in the “Crabgrass Demo” (sandbox) area. Crabgrass Demo is a “safe” place to experiment and learn.
  • Log on to your account, if necessary. (See above.)
  • Visit the Crabgrass Demo group page.
  • Click on its “Request to Join Group” link. This needs to be done only once.
  • When your request has been processed, you can return to the Crabgrass Demo group and explore.

Offer and receive help.¶
