How to join¶

If your organization wants to join the FSoC project join this committee and create a page describing your group

What should be included?¶

Please include in your organization application the following information:

• Please describe your organization
• Provide information about why your organization is interested in participating in FSoC.
• Provide indicate in your application who will be your organizational contact person, and a secondary contact person, include email addresses
• Is there a particular project that you are wanting to work on? Please provide links to the project submissions page
• Be sure to include the main contact information for your organization (email or mailing list, IRC, Jabber, etc.)
• If you are wanting to work on a particular project with a programmer, and have particular questions you would like to be included in an application, please include it.
• How will you integrate coders in your organization’s community throughout the process?
• What steps will you take to ensure that accepted coders will continue with the project after FSoC is over?
• Are people in your organization acting as facilitators? If so, please link to their pages in your application and describe why you are using these people as your facilitators.
• How will you handle problems with coders or facilitators disappearing?
